NVIDIA GeForce 930MX
La Nvidia GeForce 930MX è una scheda grafica DirectX 12 entry-level per computer portatili che è stata annunciata nel primo trimestre del 2016. È il refresh della GeForce 930M e ora supporta la memoria grafica GDDR5. Si basa sullo stesso chip GM108 e può presentare frequenze di clock leggermente aumentate.
Le prestazioni dipenderanno dalla memoria grafica utilizzata. Con GDDR5 veloce dovrebbe essere simile o leggermente più veloce della GPU Maxwell nel Surface Book. Con DDR3 si esibisce da qualche parte tra il vecchio 930M e 940M. Ciò significa che solo i giochi non esigenti del 2017 girano fluidamente (nelle impostazioni di dettaglio più basse) sulla GeForce 930M. I giochi con basse richieste come Dota 2 o Path of Exile dovrebbero girare con impostazioni di dettaglio e risoluzione più elevate.
Il consumo energetico dovrebbe essere abbastanza simile a quello della 930M e 940M e quindi adatto anche ai portatili più piccoli.
