NVIDIA T500 Laptop GPU

La Nvidia Quadro T500 Mobile per portatili è una scheda grafica mobile professionale basata sull'architettura Turing (chip TU117). È basata sulla consumer GeForce MX450 e dispone degli stessi 896 core e di un bus di memoria a 64 bit. Attualmente è disponibile con 2 o 4 GB di RAM grafica (GDDR5 o GDDR6). Il TDP varia tra 18 - 25 Watt a seconda della variante. Come l'MX450, il T500 supporta anche il PCIe 4.0. Il chip è prodotto in 12nm FinFET al TSMC. 

La generazione Turing non ha solo introdotto il raytracing per le schede RTX, ma ha anche ottimizzato l'architettura dei core e delle cache. Secondo Nvidia i core CUDA offrono ora un'esecuzione simultanea di operazioni in virgola mobile e in numeri interi per aumentare le prestazioni nei carichi di lavoro di calcolo dei giochi moderni. Inoltre, le cache sono state rielaborate (nuova architettura di memoria unificata con il doppio della cache rispetto a Pascal). Questo porta fino al 50% di istruzioni in più per ogni orologio e un consumo energetico del 40% più efficiente rispetto al Pascal. Al contrario delle più veloci schede Quadro RTX, il T1000 e il T2000 non sono dotati di raytracing e di core Tensor.
