NVIDIA Quadro RTX 5000 Max-Q

La Nvidia Quadro RTX 5000 con Design Max-Q Ë una scheda grafica professionale di fascia alta per computer portatili e workstation mobili potenti. Le varianti Max-Q sono versioni con clock inferiore che funzionano in modo pi˘ efficiente e possono essere utilizzate in chassis pi˘ piccoli rispetto alle versioni normali. Si basa sullo stesso chip TU104 della GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q consumer ma offre pi˘ shaders (128 in pi˘). Rispetto alla RTX 5000  desktop, la variante mobile offre velocit‡ di clock pi˘ basse. Sono disponibili diverse versioni con un consumo di 90, 85 e 80 Watt TGP.

Le GPU Quadro offrono drivers certificati, ottimizzati per la stabilit‡ e le prestazioni nelle applicazioni professionali (CAD, DCC, mediche, di prospezione e di visualizzazione delle applicazioni). Le prestazioni in queste aree sono quindi molto migliori rispetto alle corrispondenti GPU consumer.

Caratteristiche

NVIDIA produce il chip TU104 in un processo FinFET da 12 nm e include funzionalit‡ come il Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) e il Real-Time Ray Tracing (RTRT), che dovrebbero combinarsi per creare effetti di illuminazione pi˘ realistici rispetto alle vecchie GPU basate sull'architettura Pascal dell'azienda (se i giochi lo supportano). La Quadro RTX 5000 Ë anche predisposta per la DisplayPort 1.4, mentre c'Ë anche il supporto per HDMI 2.0b, HDR, Simultaneous Multi-Projection (SMP) e H.265 video en/decoding (PlayReady 3.0).

Prestazioni

Rispetto alla normale versione Quadro RTX 5000, le varianti Max-Q possono essere fino al 27% pi˘ lente (velocit‡ Turbo inferiori) e quindi raggiungere i livelli della pi˘ lenta RTX 4000. Rispetto alle versioni consumer, le varianti Quadro hanno dei vantaggi grazie ai drivers professionali e alla quantit‡ di VRAM.

Il consumo energetico ancora relativamente elevato della RTX5000 Max-Q rende la scheda pi˘ adatta per i grandi portatili.
