AMD Ryzen 9 4900H
L'AMD Ryzen 9 4900H è un SoC mobile per grandi portatili basato sull'architettura Renoir. Al momento dell'annuncio nel marzo 2020 è il modello più veloce della serie 4000H. L'R9 4900H integra tutti gli otto cores basati sulla microarchitettura Zen 2. Hanno un clock da 3.3 (clock di base garantito) a 4.4 GHz (Turbo) e supportano SMT / Hyperthreading (16 thread). Il chip è prodotto nel moderno processo a 7 nm al TSMC ed in parte grazie ad esso AMD dichiara un miglioramento di 2x delle prestazioni per Watt per i chip Renoir
Secondo le nostre informazioni, il Ryzen 9 4900H è solo leggermente più veloce del Ryzen 7 4800H. La CPU ha un clock da 400 MHz (base +14%) a 200 MHz (boost +5%) più alto, ma i guadagni dipendono molto dalle impostazioni di raffreddamento e TDP. Rispetto ai chip Intel, il modello di punta i9-9980HK dovrebbe essere simile. Ciò significa che il Ryzen 9 4900H dovrebbe essere in grado di gestire tutti i compiti e i giochi più impegnativi.
Oltre agli otto cores di CPU, l'APU integra anche una scheda grafica integrata Radeon RX Vega 8 con 8 CU. Il controller di memoria dual-channel supporta DDR4-3200 e LPDDR4-4266 RAM ad alta efficienza energetica. Inoltre, sul chip sono presenti 12 MB di cache di livello 3. Il TDP dell'APU è specificato a 45 Watt (default). Ciò significa che il chip è destinato a computer portatili grandi e relativamente pesanti.
