Intel Core i9-13980HX
L'Intel Core i9-13980HX è un processore mobile veloce di fascia alta della serie Raptor Lake-HX. È stato annunciato all'inizio del 2023 ed è basato sul processore desktop Core i9-13000K con 24 core e 32 thread combinati. Otto veloci core ad alte prestazioni Raptor Cove (P-cores) con HyperThreading che hanno un clock compreso tra 2,2 GHz (base) e 5,6 GHz (Turbo single core). I sedici core Gracemont sono più piccoli e più lenti e ottimizzati per l'efficienza. Hanno un clock compreso tra 1,6 GHz (base) e 4 GHz (Turbo).
Rispetto ad Alder Lake, Raptor Lake offre core P migliorati (microarchitettura Raptor Cove) con cache più grandi e più core E (stessa microarchitettura Gracemont). Inoltre, il chip supporta una memoria DDR5 più veloce (fino a 5600 MHz per il modello 13980HX).
Prestazioni
Il 13980HX medio nel nostro database si colloca nella stessa categoria del Core i9-13950HX e del Ryzen 9 7845HX per quanto riguarda i punteggi dei benchmark multi-thread.
Grazie a una soluzione di raffreddamento adeguata e a un limite di potenza della CPU a lungo termine di 143 W, l' Alienware m18 R1 è tra i sistemi più veloci costruiti intorno al 13980HX che conosciamo. Può essere almeno il 10% più veloce nei carichi di lavoro legati alla CPU rispetto al sistema più lento con lo stesso chip nel nostro database, ad agosto 2023.
La CPU è ancora prodotta su un processo FinFET da 10 nm ulteriormente migliorato (Intel 7) che consente velocità di clock più elevate. Il consumo energetico è specificato a 55W di potenza di base fino a 157 Watt di potenza massima. Potenza turbo.
