Intel Core Ultra 7 251HX

L'Intel Core Ultra 7 251HX è una CPU mobile di fascia alta per notebook da gioco basata sull'architettura Arrow Lake. Offre 18 core, composti da 6 degli 8 core ad alte prestazioni con velocità di clock fino a 5,1 GHz e 12 dei 16 core ad efficienza ridotta con velocità di clock fino a 4,5 GHz. La CPU ha accesso a 30 MB di cache L2 e 30 MB di cache L3 ed è specificata con un TDP di 45 watt.

Il SoC integra una piccola NPU dedicata chiamata AI Boost con 13 TOPS (Int8) e non supporta vPro. Il controller di memoria integrato supporta fino a 256 GB DDR5-6400 (doppio canale, ECC opzionale). La GPU integrata (iGPU) è una piccola scheda grafica Intel Graphics con quattro core Xe che funzionano a 300 - 1800 MHz.

Prestazioni - High End

Grazie ai 18 core e all'elevata frequenza di clock, le prestazioni dovrebbero essere comprese tra Core Ultra 7 245HX e Ultra 7 255HX nella gamma di CPU mobili di fascia alta. Le prestazioni dovrebbero quindi essere sufficienti per tutte le applicazioni e i giochi più esigenti nel 2016.

Produzione - TSMC e Foveros

I chip Arrow Lake-HX si basano sui chip Arrow Lake-S per desktop e sono composti da diversi chiplet. La parte della CPU viene prodotta presso TSMC utilizzando il moderno processo N3B (3nm). Anche la GPU proviene da TSMC nel processo N5P. Il SoC e il tile I/O sono prodotti nel processo TSMC N6. Il tile di base è prodotto da Intel nel processo a 22 nm e trasporta i singoli chiplet grazie al packaging 3D di Fovero.
