Intel Core i7-14700HX
L'Intel Core i7-14700HX è una CPU di fascia alta basata sulla nuova architettura Raptor Lake per notebook grandi e pesanti. La CPU è stata introdotta all'inizio del 2024 come parte del refresh di Raptor Lake HX. L'i7-14700HX è simile al Core i7-13850HX con core della CPU con clock leggermente superiore.
Il totale di 28 thread è suddiviso in core P e core E, che già conosciamo da Alder Lake. Il 13700HX offre 8 core di prestazioni (P-cores) con hyperthreading e 12 core di efficienza (E-cores) senza hyperthreading. Pertanto, è supportato un totale di 28 thread. I core P hanno un clock fino a 5,5 GHz (core singolo) e i core E fino a 3,9 GHz. Il controller di memoria integrato supporta un massimo di DDR5 a 5600 MHz.
Rispetto ad Alder Lake, la nuova architettura Raptor Lake offre core P migliorati (architettura Raptor Cove con più cache), più core E (stessa architettura Gracemont) e velocità di clock più elevate grazie al processo Intel 7 migliorato. Inoltre, Intel supporta ora una memoria principale DDR5 più veloce (fino a 5600 MHz) nei modelli di punta.
Il 13700HX è prodotto con il vecchio processo FinFET a 10 nm di Intel (processo Intel 7) ed è specificato con 55 watt di potenza di base e 157 watt di potenza turbo.
