AMD A10-5745M

L'AMD A10-5745M è un processore quad-core Low-voltage mobile basato sull'architettura Richland. L'APU integra due moduli da 2.1 a 2.9 GHz, una scheda grafica Radeon HD 8610G ed un controller di memoria DDR3(L)-1333.

Rispetto alla Trinity, la Richland è stata appena modificata. Pertanto, non si rilevano modifiche nel set di feature o nelle prestazioni Pro-MHz. Il design del chip si basa ancora sull'architettura, che consiste nei cosiddetti moduli. Ognuno dei due moduli integra 2 unità integer, ma un solo FPU. Proprio come la Trinity, la Richland supporta quasi tutte le attuali tecniche come AVX (incluso FMA), AES o Turbo Core.

Le prestazioni CPU dell'A10-5745M dovrebbero essere simili ad un Core i3-2310M. Pertanto, l'APU è sufficiente per la maggioranza delle attuali applicazioni e per molti giochi.

L'unità grafica chiamata Radeon HD 8610G offre tutte le 384 unità shader (VLIW4) ed è leggermente più veloce rispetto alla HD 7660G. Il core ha un clock da 533-626 MHz (turbo).

Il consumo di tutta l'APU è di 25 watts, leggermente sotto le CPUs di fascia media. Pertanto, l'APU è adatta per notebooks sottili da 13-pollici o superiori.
