La Transmeta Crusoe TM5800 è una CPU a basso consumo ma lenta, per portatili. La CPU è un processore 128-Bit VILV (Very Large Instruction Word) molto più semplice rispetto ad una CPU x86. Grazie al Code Morphing, la TM-5800 è in grado di emulare l'x86+MMX nell'hardware.
