AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-52

L'AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-52 è un processore Dual-Core con clock da 1.6 GHz. Si basa sul core K8 ed offre 512KB di Level 2 Cache per core. Il TL-52 è il secondo processore per lentezza della linea TL ed è realizzato in 90nm. Il TL-50 con lo stesso clock offre di diverso appena 512 KB di Level 2 Cache ed è di conseguenza più lento.

Le prestazioni del Turion TL-52 sono paragonabili ad un Core Duo con 1MB di Level 2 Cache (i.e. nel 3DMark06 CPU e Cinebench 10 Benchmark). Tuttavia, alcuni benchmarks come SuperPi potrebbero mostrare risultati nettamente peggiori (guardate i benchmarks in basso).

Il consumo energetico rispetto ai processori Core Duo è notevolmente più elevato con una conseguente minore autonomia della batteria.
