AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-66

L'AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-66 è un processore dual core da 2.2 GHz per portatili. Si basa sul core K8 ed offre solo 512KB di Level 2 Cach per core (due cores). Il TL-66 è parte dei processori TL prodotti in 65nm con un TDP da 35W.

Le prestazioni del Turion TL-66 sono paragonabili alle Core Duo con clock più lento e con 1MB di Level 2 Cache (es. nei benchmarks 3DMark06 CPU e Cinebench 10). Tuttavia, in alcuni benchmarks  come SuperPi le prestazioni sono peggiori (guardate i benchmarks di seguito) ed i classici Core Duo da 2.2 GHz hanno una quantità maggiore di Level 2.

Il consumo energetico rispetto ai processori Core Duo è notevolmente più elevato in media con una conseguente limitazione dell'autonomia della batteria.
