Intel Atom N2600

L'Intel Atom N2600 è un processore dual core entry level per netbooks e tablets. E' stato annunziato ufficialmente nel Dicembre 2011 dopo alcuni problemi con i drivers grafici (secondo alcuni rumors).

La N2600 sfrutta una scheda grafica basata sulla PowerVR SGX545 (a 400MHz) chiamata Graphics Media Accelerator 3600 ed un motore per la decodifica video per MPEG4 Part2, VC-1, WMV9, ed H.264. Inoltre, il chip ora supporta anche l'output DisplayPort 1.1 ed HDMI 1.3a.

Il processor core dovrebbe essere simile ai precedenti processori Atom. Di conseguenza le prestazioni della N2600 dovrebbero essere paragonabili ad una vecchia Atom N570.

Il controller di memoria 64Bit Single-Channel DDR3-800/1067 integrato supporta due SODIMMS ed un massimo di 2 GB di RAM.
