Intel Z530

L'Intel Atom Z530 è un processore single-core a risparmio energetico per netbook / MID. Rispetto all'Atom N270, la Z530 supporta la Virtualization ed ha le funzioni Idle States e Demand Based Switching.

Il core Atom core è stato progettato per una consumo ridotto di energia ed un costo di produzione contenuto. In compenso le prestazioni per Watt sono ridotte (a causa dell'esecuzione in-order) rispetto ai processori Celeron con clock simile, i.e... Sebbene l'Hyper-Threading integrato (il sistema operativo riconosce la CPU come una CPU dual core) riduce i problemi derivanti dall'esecuzione in-order.

Le prestazioni della Z5300 sono paragonabili solo ai Celeron con clock 1.2 GHz di conseguenza sono sufficienti solo per le applicazioni non pesanti come Office o navigazione web. I video HD, l'editing avanzato di foto, il video cutting potrebbero avere problemi di fluidità.

Recensione netbook Nokia Booklet 3G

Modello in dismissione. Il produttore di cellulare Finlandese, Nokia, si è avventurata sin dal 2009 nel settore netbook con il Booklet 3G. Abbiamo dato uno sguardo ad un modello ancora disponibile, inizialmente lussuoso, ma ora con un hardware obsoleto di circa due anni. Vediamo in questa recensione come si colloca oggi quello che è stato un ottimo Booklet.

Recensione Dell Inspiron Mini 12 Notebook

Netbook o no, questo è il problema. Dopo che tutti i notebooks sul mercato hanno continuamente aggiunto funzioni negli utlimi anni, molti utenti hanno spesso messo in discussione la loro utilità, con i netbooks il trend è stato dunque riconsiderato. E sono arrivate le dotazioni con appena le funzioni base e più importanti, che hanno avuto un ottimo seguito. Dell ha risolto il frequente problema dello schermo piccolo con un netbook 12", anche se il nome ufficiale sembra smentirlo.
