Intel Atom Z670

L'Intel Atom Z670 è un processore single core per tablets. E' chiamato anche SoC (system on a chip) con una scheda grafica integrata Intel GMA 600 ed un controller di memoria DDR2-800 integrato. Fa parte della piattaforma Oak Trail e la CPU è realizzata in 45nm. Tecnicamente la CPU chiamata Lyncroft è simile all'Atom Moorestown Smartphone ma ha il supporto BIOS. Il TDP da 3 Watt dovrebbe consentire un design privo di ventola.

Le prestazioni dovrebbero essere simili ad un processore Atom della serie N da 1.5 GHz utilizzato per i netbooks in quanto i cores sono paragonabili. Tuttavia, la memoria principale più lenta potrebbe rallentare le prestazioni.
