AMD E2-1800
L'AMD E2-1800 (nome in codice Zacate) è un processore a dual core per piccoli portatili e netbooks. Offre una scheda grafica integrata relativamente potente ed un controller di memoria single channel DDR3-1333. Rispetto alla più datata E-450, la E2-1800 offre una CPU leggermente più veloce (50 MHz) ed una GPU (20-80 MHz). All'interno della E2-1800 possono accedere a 512KB di level 2 cache per core. Rispetto ai processori Atom, l'architettura Bobcat utilizza una esecuzione "out-of-order" e di conseguenza è più veloce pur avendo la stessa velocità clock. Tuttavia le prestazioni sono nettamente peggiori rispetto ai cores Penryn (Celeron) o Danube (Athlon II) con clok simile. In media le prestazioni cpu della E-450 restano appena dietro una Celeron SU2300 da 1.2 GHz o ad una Athlon II Neo K325 da 1.3 GHz. La scheda grafica integrata Radeon HD 7340 offre 80 shaders ed un processore video UVD3. Rispetto alla lenta GMA 3150 dei processori Atom, la HD7340 offre maggiori prestazioni ed è veloce quasi quanto una soluzione grafica Nvidia ION. La differenza rispetto alla più vecchia 6320 della E-450 è il clock rate superiore di 20-80MHz. Il consumo energetico ha un TDP di 18 Watt by AMD. Stando alle prime recensioni dei prototipi Brazos i consumi sono tra e to 29 Watt. Siamo al livello di un (più potente) 11" MacBook Air che usa Windows 7.
