Intel T4500

L'Intel Pentium T4500 (o Intel Pentium Dual-Core T4500) è una CPU dual-core di categoria inferiore per portatili. Rispetto alle CPUS Core 2 Duo, la T4500 ha solo 1 MB di Level 2 cache ed alcuni meccanismi di risparmio energetico sono disattivati.

Di conseguenza, il consumo di energia in modalità di riposo dovrebbe essere un po' sopra le CPUs Core 2 Duo con clock simile. Inoltre, la virtualization technology VT-x non è disponibile sulla T4500.

A causa del clock rate basso e della poca level 2 cache, il Pentium T4500 limiterà le prestazioni dei giochi esigenti in 3D (i.e. Supreme Commander). Per le applicazioni poco pesanti come quelle da ufficio, SD video cutting, editing immagini, Internet e piccoli giochi, la T4500 dovrebbe essere sufficiente.

La Pentium T4500 si basa sul core Intel Penryn e sfrutta 2 unità integer, 1 unità floating point, 1 unità load, ed 1 unità store in una pipeline 14-step.
