L'Intel Core 2 Duo T6500 è un processore dual core di fascia base per portatili. Si basa sul core Penryn ma offre solo 2 MB di level 2 cache ed un clock rate di appena 2.1 GHz. Rispetto al Core 2 Duo T6570, il T6500 non offre la Virtualizzazione VT-x e di conseguenza di propone per i portatili consumer.

Le prestazioni dovrebbero essere adatte per le applicazioni non pesanti come quelle da ufficio, internet, video editing base o correzione di immagini. I giochi con intenso utilizzo di CPU potrebbero essere limitati dalla potenza del T6500.

Recensione Notebook Sony Vaio VGN-NW11

La virtù è nel mezzo La Sony ha creato il suo Vaio NW11 dandogli un appeal chic ed elegante e focalizzandosi sul multimedia. Allo stesso tempo, le ridotte dimensioni e la leggerezza non lo privano della necessaria mobilità. Tutto in uno? Asus mette in pista un notebook dal prezzo appetibile a tutto tondo con il suo N51V, che promette ottime prestazioni con un processore Core 2 Duo T6500 e una scheda grafica GeForce GT130M. In accoppiata con uno schermo HD LED 16:9 sembra interessante tanto per il giocatore occasionale che per l'utenza interessata al multimedia.
