AMD R7 7800X3D

AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D è un processore desktop di fascia alta della serie Raphael con 8 core Zen 4 e SMT (Simultaneous Multithreading), che consente di gestire fino a 16 thread contemporaneamente. Dopo il suo annuncio nel gennaio 2023 al CES di Las Vegas, è stato lanciato nel mese di aprile 2023. Dopo il lancio dei due modelli di punta, AMD Ryzen 9 7900X3D e AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, è stato introdotto il terzo modello, che offre prestazioni di gioco nettamente superiori grazie alla 3D V-Cache.

I core della CPU hanno un clock di base di 4,2 GHz e possono essere potenziati fino a 5 GHz (turbo single-core). L'AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D presenta un CCD con 8 core, che include la veloce 3D V-Cache. Questo differisce in modo significativo dai due modelli Ryzen 9, che hanno due CCD, ma solo uno di essi può utilizzare la V-Cache 3D.

Le prestazioni di AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D sono sempre buone, anche se le prestazioni multi-thread soffrono un po' a causa degli otto core di calcolo nativi. Tuttavia, la vera forza di AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D risiede nelle prestazioni di gioco, dove eccelle. Nei test, abbiamo riscontrato prestazioni di gioco costantemente elevate, superando persino quelle di un Intel Core i9-13900K.

In termini di consumo energetico, AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D si allinea agli altri due modelli con 3D V-Cache, rendendo il processore a 8 core estremamente efficiente dal punto di vista energetico. In numeri, questo significa che l'AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D è specificato con un TDP di 120 watt. Anche il PPT (Package Power Tracking) è valutato fino a 162 watt. A titolo di confronto, un AMD Ryzen 9 7950X è specificato con 170 watt (TDP) o 230 watt (PPT).
