Intel Arc G3 Extreme

L'Intel Arc G3 Extreme è un SoC veloce di fascia media con 14 core della famiglia Panther Lake per palmari. Il chip offre anche una potente iGPU a 12 core.

Caratteristiche

Arc G3 Extreme integra un tile di calcolo, prodotto da Intel con il nuovo processo 18A. Questo include 2 grandi core Cougar Cove P con un massimo di 4,7 GHz, 4 degli 8 core Darkmont E e 4 piccoli core Darkmont LP E (a basso consumo). Sono inoltre integrati la nuova NPU 5 con 46 TOPS INT8 e un processore di immagini IPU-7.5. Il controller di memoria integrato supporta fino a 96 GB LPDDR5(X)-8533.

Il tile GPU include una potente iGPU chiamata Intel Arc B390 con tutti i 12 core Xe3 e il supporto del ray tracing. Nell'Arc G3, tuttavia, la GPU ha un clock di soli 2,3 GHz.

Il terzo chiplet integra il controller della piattaforma con 12 corsie PCIe (come per gli altri due chip), 4x Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 7 (R2) e Bluetooth Core 6.0. Il controller della piattaforma è prodotto da TSMC.

Prestazioni

Le prestazioni della CPU dovrebbero essere simili a quelle dell' Intel Core Ultra 5 338H (12 core, ma con 4 potenti core P fino a 4,7 GHz).

Il TDP dell'Arc G3 Extreme può variare da 15 a 25 watt (PL2 - Processor Base Power) e raggiungere brevemente gli 80 watt (PL1 - Maximum Turbo Power).
