AMD Ryzen 7 7730U
AMD Ryzen 7 7730U è un processore per computer portatili sottili e leggeri basato sulla generazione Cezanne. Fa parte del secondo aggiornamento "Barcelo" all'inizio del 2023 e offre le stesse specifiche della vecchia generazione Ryzen 7 5825U . La CPU integra tutti gli otto core basati sulla microarchitettura Zen 3 con clock da 2 (clock di base garantito) a 4,5 GHz (Turbo) e supporta SMT / Hyperthreading (16 thread). Il chip è prodotto in 7nm presso TSMC.
La microarchitettura Zen 3 offre un IPC (istruzioni per clock) significativamente più elevato rispetto a Zen 2, ma rimane indietro rispetto alle attuali CPU basate su Zen 4 (ad esempio la serie 7040HS).
Prestazioni
La media del 7730U nel nostro database si colloca nella stessa categoria del Ryzen 7 5825U , Ryzen 7 6800U , Ryzen 7 PRO 6850U e anche il Core i7-1360P per quanto riguarda i punteggi dei benchmark multi-thread.
Grazie a una soluzione di raffreddamento decente e a un limite di potenza della CPU a lungo termine di 30 W, il ThinkPad E14 G5-21JSS05C00 è tra i computer portatili più veloci costruiti intorno al 7730U che conosciamo. Può essere quasi il 40% più veloce nei carichi di lavoro legati alla CPU rispetto al sistema più lento con lo stesso chip nel nostro database, ad agosto 2023.
Oltre agli otto core della CPU, l'APU integra anche una GPU Radeon RX Vega 8 con 8 CU fino a 2000 MHz. Il controller di memoria a doppio canale supporta RAM DDR4-3200 e LPDDR4-4266 ad alta efficienza energetica. Inoltre, sul chip sono presenti 16 MB di cache di livello 3 (rispetto agli 8 MB della 4800U).
Il TDP dell'APU è specificato a 15 Watt (il 5825U era specificato a 10 - 25W).
