Ryzen 7X4X/8X4X CPU

Ryzen 7 8745HS è un chip della famiglia Hawk Point, disponibile solo in Cina, che non ha mai ricevuto un lancio ufficiale. Destinato ai computer portatili per il gioco e la produttività, ma ampiamente utilizzato anche nei mini-PC, l'8745HS è dotato di 8 core (16 thread grazie al supporto SMT) che funzionano fino a 4,9 GHz, insieme alla ancora abbastanza capace Radeon 780M iGPU. Non c'è NPU qui.

Essendo un'APU destinata all'uso in Cina, questo Ryzen 7 dovrebbe essere pienamente conforme agli standard di crittografia approvati dal governo cinese.

L'unica differenza tra il modello 8745HS e il modello 8745H è il wattaggio predefinito leggermente inferiore di quest'ultimo, che potrebbe portare a velocità di clock leggermente inferiori.

Prestazioni

Ci aspettiamo che questo processore con architettura Zen 4 sia più o meno veloce come il Ryzen 7 7745HX (8 core Zen 4, da 3,6 GHz a 5,1 GHz), il che significa che le sue prestazioni multi-thread sono leggermente migliori rispetto al Core Ultra 9 185H ma con qualche punto percentuale in meno rispetto al Ryzen AI 9 HX 370.

Architettura e caratteristiche

A differenza di Zen 3, Zen 4 presenta il supporto AVX512 insieme ad altri miglioramenti, come cache/registri/buffer più grandi su tutta la linea. Altrove, l'8745HS ha 16 MB di cache L3 e un controller RAM veloce (fino a LPDDR5x-7500 e fino a DDR5-5600). Ci sono 20 corsie PCI-Express 4 per collegare dispositivi come SSD NVMe (1,97 GB/s per corsia) e schede grafiche; è presente anche il supporto USB 4 / Thunderbolt. Tenga presente che l'APU non è overcloccabile e nemmeno sostituibile dall'utente. Viene saldata definitivamente sulla scheda madre (interfacce socket FP7r2 o FP8).

Grafica

La Radeon 780M (12 CUs / 768 shaders, fino a 2.600 MHz) può pilotare 4 monitor contemporaneamente con risoluzioni fino a SUHD 4320p. Inoltre, avrà pochi problemi di codifica e decodifica hardware dei codec video più diffusi (AV1, AVC, HEVC). Per quanto riguarda i giochi, molti titoli sono ancora giocabili a 1080p all'inizio del 2025, anche se con la maggior parte delle impostazioni ridotte a Minimo o Basso.

Consumo di energia

Questo chip della serie Ryzen 7 ha un limite di potenza a lungo termine (TDP predefinito) compreso tra 35 W e 54 W, offrendo ai produttori di sistemi la scelta tra migliorare la durata della batteria e rendere più veloce il sistema che stanno progettando. In ogni caso, una soluzione di raffreddamento attivo è un must per un portatile o un mini-PC costruito su questa APU.
