Intel Core i5-13500H
L'Intel Core i5-13500H è una CPU mobile di fascia media per computer portatili basata sulla serie Raptor Lake-H (architettura Alder Lake o Raptor Lake). È stata annunciata all'inizio del 2023 e offre 4 dei 6 core ad alte prestazioni (core P, architettura Golden Cove) e tutti gli 8 core efficienti (core E, architettura Gracemont). I core P supportano l'Hyper-Threading, che porta a 16 thread supportati quando vengono combinati con i core E-. La frequenza di clock varia da 2,6 a 4,7 GHz (boost del singolo core, tutti i core fino a 4,6 GHz) sul cluster ad alte prestazioni e da 1,9 a 3,5 GHz sul cluster efficiente. Le prestazioni dei core E dovrebbero essere simili a quelle dei vecchi core Skylake (confrontare il Core i7-6700HQ ). Tutti i core possono utilizzare fino a 18 MB di cache L3.
Prestazioni
Grazie alle velocità di clock più elevate del processo Intel 7 migliorato, il Core i5-13500H può superare il vecchio Core i5-12600H (ad esempio, + 200 MHz di boost).
Caratteristiche
Il controller di memoria integrato supporta vari tipi di memoria fino a DDR5-5200 (da DDR5-4800 dell'i5-12500H). Il Thread Director (in hardware) può supportare il sistema operativo a decidere quale thread utilizzare sui core più performanti o efficienti per ottenere le migliori prestazioni. Per i compiti AI, la CPU integra anche GNA 3.0 e DL Boost (tramite AVX2). Quick Sync nella versione 8 è lo stesso delle CPU Rocket Lake e supporta la decodifica MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1, JPEG, VP8, VP9, HEVC e AV1 in hardware. La CPU ora supporta PCIe 5.0 x8 per una GPU e due PCIe 4.0 x4 per le SSD.
La scheda grafica integrata si basa sull'architettura Xe e offre 80 delle 96 EU (Execution Unit).
La CPU è valutata a 45 W di potenza di base (95 W PL2), ma la maggior parte dei computer portatili utilizzerà un PL1 di circa 60 Watt. Il SoC è prodotto in un processo a 10 nm ulteriormente migliorato presso Intel, noto come Intel 7.
