AMD R5 PRO 5675U

AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 5675U è un processore per computer portatili sottili e leggeri basato sulla generazione Cezanne / Barcelo. L'R5 5675U integra sei degli otto core basati sulla microarchitettura Zen 3. I core hanno un clock di 2,5 volte superiore a quello di un processore di fascia alta. I core hanno un clock da 2,3 (clock di base garantito) a 4,3 GHz (Turbo) e supportano SMT / Hyperthreading (12 thread). Il chip è prodotto con il moderno processo a 7 nm di TSMC.

Le CPU PRO offrono ulteriori funzionalità di gestione e sicurezza. Il modello 5675U è il refresh del Ryzen 5 Pro 5650U e offre una velocità di boost superiore di 100 MHz.

La microarchitettura Zen 3 offre un IPC (istruzioni per clock) significativamente più elevato rispetto alla Zen 2. Per i processori desktop AMD dichiara un guadagno medio del 19%, mentre nelle recensioni delle applicazioni ha mostrato un guadagno del 12% circa alla stessa velocità di clock.

Con l'aumento della velocità di clock e i miglioramenti dell'IPC grazie a Zen 3, il Ryzen 5 PRO 5675U dovrebbe essere chiaramente più veloce del Ryzen 5 4500U con clock inferiore.

Oltre ai sei core della CPU, l'APU integra anche una scheda grafica integrata Radeon RX Vega 7 con 7 CU e fino a 1800 MHz. Il controller di memoria a doppio canale supporta RAM DDR4-3200 e LPDDR4-4266 ad alta efficienza energetica. Inoltre, sul chip sono presenti 12 MB di cache di livello 3 (rispetto agli 8 MB del 4800U).

Il TDP dell'APU è specificato a 15 Watt (valore predefinito) e può essere configurato da 10 a 25 Watt dal fornitore del portatile (la maggior parte dei chip è configurata con un valore superiore a 15 Watt). Ciò significa che il chip è destinato a computer portatili sottili e leggeri (ma con ventole).
