Intel i3-1115G4

L'Intel Core i3-1115G4 è un SoC dual-core a basso consumo energetico per laptop e Ultrabook basato sulla generazione Tiger Lake-U (UP4) introdotta nel settembre 2020. Integra due core di processore Willow Cove (4 thread grazie a HyperThreading). Ogni core può clockare da 3 GHz (velocità di base) a 4,1 GHz (boost singolo e doppio core). I modelli Core i5 e i7 più veloci offrono più di quattro core e sono quindi significativamente più veloci.

Un'altra novità è la scheda grafica Xe integrata basata sulla nuovissima architettura Gen 12. Nel modello i3-1115G4 Intel dà il nome alla GPU UHD Graphics e offre solo 48 dei 96 EU con clock a 400 - 1250 MHz. GPU e CPU possono utilizzare insieme i 6 MB di cache L3.

Inoltre, Tiger Lake SoCs aggiunge il supporto PCIe 4 (quattro corsie), l'accelerazione hardware AI e l'integrazione parziale di Thunderbolt 4 / USB 4 e WiFi 6 nel chip.

Il chip viene prodotto nel processo migliorato a 10nm+ (chiamato SuperFin) alla Intel che dovrebbe essere paragonabile al processo a 7nm alla TSMC (per esempio serie Ryzen 4000).

Il campo di funzionamento della serie UP3 è specificato da 12 a 28 Watt. Pertanto, il processore è adatto anche per i portatili sottili e leggeri.
