AMD R5 7520U

AMD Ryzen 5 7520U è un processore mobile per i notebook della serie Mendocino a basso costo. Incorpora quattro vecchi core Zen 2 (simili alla serie Ryzen 4000, come il Ryzen 3 4300U). I core della CPU funzionano a frequenze che vanno da 2,8 GHz (base) a 4,3 GHz (single core Turbo) e possono utilizzare 4 MB di cache L3. Grazie all'SMT/Hyperthreading, la CPU può lavorare su 8 thread contemporaneamente. Il controller di memoria integrato supporta solo la memoria LPDDR5 veloce (max. 5500 MHz).

La scheda grafica integrata (Radeon 610M iGPU) utilizza la moderna architettura RDNA 2, ma ha solo 2 CU (128 shader) e funziona a un massimo di 1,9 GHz.

Le prestazioni della CPU dovrebbero essere leggermente superiori a quelle di un Ryzen 4000U quad-core grazie alla memoria più veloce e alle frequenze di clock più elevate.

La serie Mendocino è prodotta con un processo relativamente moderno a 6 nm FinFET presso TSMC e dovrebbe offrire una buona efficienza energetica. L'R5 7520U ha un TDP di 8-15W ed è quindi adatto ai portatili sottili e leggeri.
