Intel Core i7-10610U
L'Intel Core i7-10610U è un SoC quad-core a basso consumo energetico per notebook basato sulla generazione Comet Lake (CML-U) ed è stato annunciato nell'agosto 2019. Rispetto agli analoghi processori Whiskey Lake (ad esempio Core i7-8665U), l'unica differenza è il supporto di velocità di memoria più elevate (DDR4-2666 vs 2400) e due core aggiuntivi nel modello di punta (non in questo i7-10610U). I core del processore sono clockati tra 1,8 e 4,9 GHz (non verificati). Grazie a HyperThreading si possono utilizzare 8 fili. Rispetto all'analogo Core i7-10510U, il 10610U supporta vPro.
Grazie alle elevate velocità di clock, le prestazioni del processore del i7-10510U sono molto buone per la sua classe. Dovrebbe superare leggermente i migliori processori Whiskey Lake i7 (i7-8665U) e anche Ice Lake se le impostazioni di raffreddamento e TDP non sono limitanti.
La scheda grafica integrata è comunque sempre la stessa delle generazioni precedenti. Dovrebbe essere ancora chiamata Intel HD Graphics 620 e clock da 300 - 1150 MHz nel i7. Inoltre, il SoC integra un de- ed encoder VP9 e H.265 e un controller di memoria integrato a doppio canale DDR4-2666 / LPDDR4x 2933 / LPDDR3-2133.
Il chip è ancora prodotto nel processo 14nm+++ come Whiskey Lake. Il TDP (PL1) è specificato a 15 Watt ma può essere variato da 10 a 25 Watt dal produttore (cTDP su/giù) con conseguenti prestazioni diverse (specialmente la durata del Turbo). Per fornire le massime prestazioni, Intel propone un breve picco di potenza di 82 W (PL4) per l'i5 (90 W anche per l'i7 a 6 core) e 11 W in più rispetto al Whiskey Lake.
