AMD R3 3250U

L'AMD Ryzen 3 3250U è un Dual-Core-SoC mobile che è stato annunciato nel gennaio 2019. Combina due core Zen+ (con SMT / Hyperthreading in modo da eseguire 4 fili) con clock a 2,6 - 3,5 GHz con una scheda grafica Radeon RX Vega 3 con 3 CU (192 Shaders) con clock fino a 1200 MHz. Specificato a 15 Watt TDP, il SoC è destinato ai portatili sottili di fascia media. La differenza rispetto alla vecchia Ryzen 3 3200U è solo la specifica di temperatura massima ridotta di 95 contro 105°C.

I SoC Picasso utilizzano la microarchitettura Zen+ con lievi miglioramenti che dovrebbero portare ad un miglioramento del 3% di IPS (performance per clock). Inoltre, il processo a 12 nm permette di aumentare la velocità di clock a consumi energetici simili.

Il controller di memoria integrato a doppio canale supporta fino a DDR4-2400 memoria. Poiché le caratteristiche delle APU Picasso sono le stesse rispetto ai predecessori di Raven Ridge, segnaliamo il nostro articolo di lancio di Raven Ridge.

A differenza delle APU Picasso quad-core più veloci, il Ryzen 3 3250U supporta solo 3 display invece di 4 in totale.

AMD afferma che le APU Picasso sono circa l'8% più veloci dei predecessori. Pertanto, il Ryzen 3 3250U dovrebbe essere più veloce del Ryzen 3 2200U (2,5 - 3,4 GHz Dual Core con SMT).
