AMD R5 7430U

AMD Ryzen 5 7430U è un processore per computer portatili sottili e leggeri basato sulla generazione Cezanne. Fa parte del secondo aggiornamento "Barcelo" ed è stato annunciato nel quarto trimestre del 2023. Il processore è identico al vecchio AMD Ryzen 5 5625U.

Il SoC integra sei degli otto core basati sulla microarchitettura Zen 3, con clock da 2,3 (clock di base garantito) a 4,3 GHz (Turbo) e supporto SMT per un totale di 12 thread. Il chip è prodotto con il vecchio processo TSMC a 7 nm.

Oltre ai sei core della CPU, l'APU integra anche una scheda grafica integrata Radeon RX Vega 7 (ora chiamata solo Radeon Graphics) con 7 CU fino a 1800 MHz. Il controller di memoria a doppio canale supporta RAM DDR4-3200 e LPDDR4-4266 ad alta efficienza energetica. Inoltre, nel chip sono presenti 16 MB di cache di livello 3 (rispetto agli 8 MB della 4800U).

Prestazioni

Le prestazioni sono identiche a quelle del vecchio Ryzen 5625U e quindi nella fascia medio-bassa delle CPU per computer portatili alla fine del 2023.

Il suo chilometraggio può variare a seconda dei limiti di potenza della CPU e della competenza della soluzione di raffreddamento del suo sistema.

Consumo di energia

Questo Ryzen ha un TDP predefinito di 15 W (noto anche come limite di potenza 1). Si tratta di un valore un po' troppo alto per consentire progetti con raffreddamento passivo.
