L'AMD Ryzen 5 5600G è una APU desktop Zen 3 con grafica Radeon integrata. Il Ryzen 5 5600G offre sei core, 12 thread e 16 MB di cache L3. L'APU opera ad un clock di base di 3,9 GHz e può arrivare ad un massimo di 4,4 GHz. AMD fornisce un cooler Wraith Stealth in scatola con tutte le unità Ryzen 5 5600G.

Il Ryzen 5 5600G è rivolto a giocatori e creatori di contenuti che non sono ancora pronti a investire in una soluzione grafica dedicata. L'APU integra una iGPU Radeon RX Vega 7 che offre sette unità di calcolo (448 shader) e può spingere fino a 1.900 GHz. La RX Vega 7 dovrebbe essere in grado di eseguire titoli meno impegnativi come Fifa 22 senza problemi a 1080p con impostazioni elevate. Altri giochi richiederanno di abbassare la risoluzione e/o i dettagli per ottenere frame rate giocabili. Vega 7 beneficia se accoppiato con una memoria veloce come DDR4-3200.

L'AMD Ryzen 5 5600G è fabbricato su un processo TSMC 7 nm ed è valutato ad un TDP predefinito di 65 W. Il processore è sbloccato per supportare l'overclocking. A differenza della sua controparte desktop regolare, il Ryzen 5 5600X, il Ryzen 5 5600G può supportare solo interfacce PCIe Gen 3.
