L'Intel Core i5-13400F è un processore desktop di fascia media della serie Raptor Lake. Include un'architettura ibrida per i core della CPU con 10 core combinati. Sei core ad alte prestazioni Golden Cove / Raptor Cove (P-cores) con HyperThreading e una velocità di clock di 3,5 - 5,1 GHz e quattro core di efficienza Gracemont senza HyperThreading e una velocità di clock di 2,6 - 3,9 GHz. Il modello 13400F può essere basato sui vecchi chip Alder Lake (almeno per i primi modelli) o sui più recenti chip Raptor Lake. Le CPU della serie F non integrano una iGPU.

Le prestazioni sono chiaramente superiori rispetto al vecchio Core i5-12400F, grazie ai quattro core E aggiuntivi. Questi aiutano nei carichi di lavoro multi-threaded, mentre il core boost superiore dei core p aiuta nei carichi di lavoro single threaded.

Il consumo energetico del 13400F è valutato in 65 Watt per i carichi di lavoro sostenuti (PL1) e 148 Watt per le brevi raffiche (PL2).
