Intel i9-11950H

L'Intel Core i9-11950H è un SoC octa core di fascia alta per computer portatili e workstation mobili. È basato sulla generazione Tiger Lake H45 ed è stato annunciato a metà del 2021. Integra otto core di processore Willow Cove (16 threads grazie all'HyperThreading). La velocità di clock di base dipende dall'impostazione del TDP e a 45 Watt è a 2,6 GHz. La velocità di boost del singolo core può arrivare fino a 5 GHz (ITBM 3.0, anche due core), tutti i core possono arrivare fino a 4,5 GHz. La CPU offre 24 MB di cache di livello 3 e supporta la memoria DDR4-3200. Rispetto all'i9-11980HK, il 11950H offre funzionalità di gestione professionale come Intel vPro, SIPP o TXT.

Grazie alla nuova architettura Tiger Lake, l'i9-11980HK dovrebbe essere significativamente più veloce del vecchio Intel Core i9-10980HK (Comet Lake-H, 2.4 - 5.3 GHz, 16 MB L3) nelle prestazioni single e multi threaded e simile al Ryzen 9 5980HX (Zen 3, 3.3 - 4.8 GHz, 16 MB L3). Pertanto, l'i9 dovrebbe essere una delle CPU per laptop più veloci del 2021 e ben adatta per compiti anche molto impegnativi.

Il SoC ha anche incluso la scheda grafica Xe migliorata chiamata grafica UHD con tutti i 32 UE.

Inoltre, i SoC Tiger Lake aggiungono il supporto PCIe 4 (20 corsie nella serie H45), l'accelerazione hardware AI e la parziale integrazione di Thunderbolt 4/USB 4 e Wi-Fi 6E nel chip.

Il chip è prodotto nel processo migliorato a 10nm (chiamato 10nm SuperFin) di Intel, che dovrebbe essere paragonabile al processo a 7nm di TSMC (es. Ryzen serie 4000). Il TDP di default è valutato a 45 W, a 65 Watt la velocità di clock di base aumenta a 3,3 GHz (cTDP in aumento).
