Intel Core i5-11500H
L'Intel Core i5-11500H è un SoC hexa core di fascia alta per i computer portatili da gioco e le workstation mobili. Si basa sulla generazione Tiger Lake H45 e sarà annunciato a metà del 2021. Integra sei core di processore Willow Cove (12 thread grazie all'HyperThreading). La velocità di clock di base dipende dall'impostazione del TDP e a 45 Watt è specificata a 2,9 GHz. La velocità di boost del singolo core può raggiungere i 4,6 GHz, mentre tutti i core possono raggiungere i 4,2 GHz. La CPU offre 12 MB di cache di livello 3 e supporta la memoria DDR4-3200. Rispetto al clock più lento i5-11400Hil 11500H offre funzioni di gestione professionale come Intel vPro, SIPP o TXT.
Grazie alla nuova architettura Tiger Lake, l'i5-11500H dovrebbe essere più veloce del vecchio Intel Core i7-10850H (Comet Lake-H, 6 core, 2,7 - 5,1 GHz, 16 MB L3) nelle prestazioni a thread singolo e multiplo e simile al Ryzen 5 5600H (Zen 3, 6 core, 3,3 - 4,4 GHz, 16 MB L3). Pertanto, l'i7 è adatto anche a compiti molto impegnativi.
Il SoC include anche la scheda grafica Scheda grafica Xe denominata grafica UHD con tutti i 32 EU.
Inoltre, i SoC Tiger Lake aggiungono il supporto PCIe 4 (20 corsie nella serie H45), l'accelerazione hardware AI e l'integrazione parziale di Thunderbolt 4/USB 4 e Wi-Fi 6E nel chip.
Il chip è prodotto nel processo migliorato a 10 nm (chiamato 10 nm SuperFin) di Intel, che dovrebbe essere paragonabile al processo a 7 nm di TSMC (ad esempio, Ryzen serie 4000). Il TDP predefinito è stimato a 45 W alla velocità di base di 2,7 GHz, mentre a 35 Watt la velocità di clock di base diminuisce a 2,2 GHz (cTDP in calo).
