Intel Core i5-14500HX
L'Intel Core i5-14500HX è una CPU di fascia alta della serie Raptor-Lake-HX Refresh (RPL-H). La CPU offre tutti i 6 core di prestazioni (P-cores, architettura Golden Cove o Raptor Cove) e gli 8 core di efficienza (E-cores, architettura Gracemont). I core P supportano l'hyperthreading (quindi 20 thread insieme) e hanno un clock da 2,4 a 4,9 GHz (turbo single-core). I core E hanno un clock da 1,9 a 3,7 GHz e dovrebbero offrire prestazioni paragonabili ai vecchi core Skylake (ad es. i7-6920HQ).
Prestazioni
Grazie alle frequenze di clock più elevate della serie Rocket Lake, l'i5-14500HX può raggiungere il livello del vecchio Core i9-12900H ed è quindi una CPU mobile molto veloce, ideale per tutti i settori di applicazione.
Unità grafica
Come il suo predecessore, Intel integra un'unità grafica basata su Intel Xe. Nel modello 14500HX, tutti i 96 UE sono attivati e hanno un clock fino a 1,55 GHz.
Caratteristiche
Come Alder-Lake-H, Raptor-Lake-H ha parzialmente integrato WiFi 6E e Thunderbolt 4 (4x). Il controller di memoria integrato ora supporta una memoria DDR5-5200 più veloce. L'Acceleratore Gaussiano e Neurale (GNA) integrato è ancora installato nella versione 3.0. Il motore multimediale Quick Sync 8 è lo stesso di Rocket Lake e supporta la decodifica MPEG-2, AVC, VC-1, JPEG, VP8, VP9, HEVC e AV1. Il chip supporta PCIe 5.0 x8 per una dGPU e due PCIe 4.0 x4 per le SSD. Il PCH offre anche PCIe Gen3 x12.
Consumo di energia
L'Intel Core i5-14500HX è specificato con un TDP di 55 watt (PL2 157 watt). Il processore continua ad essere prodotto con il processo Intel 7 migliorato (10 nm SuperFin).
