Intel Arc G3

L’Intel Arc G3 è un SoC veloce di fascia media con 14 core della famiglia Panther Lake destinato ai dispositivi portatili. Il chip offre inoltre una potente iGPU a 10 core.

Caratteristiche

L’Arc G3 integra un “compute tile”, prodotto da Intel con il nuovo processo 18A. Questo comprende 2 core P Cougar Cove di grandi dimensioni con frequenza fino a 4,6 GHz, 8 core E Darkmont con frequenza fino a 3,3 GHz e 4 core E Darkmont LP (a basso consumo) di piccole dimensioni con frequenza fino a 3,1 GHz. Sono inoltre presenti la nuova NPU 5 con 46 TOPS INT8 e un processore di immagini IPU-7.5. Il controller di memoria integrato supporta fino a 96 GB di LPDDR5(X)-8533.

Il modulo GPU include una potente iGPU con 10 dei 12 core Xe3 e supporto per il ray tracing. Nell’Arc G3, tuttavia, la GPU ha una frequenza di clock di soli 2,2 GHz.

Il terzo chiplet integra il controller di piattaforma con 12 linee PCIe (rispetto alle 12 degli altri 2 chip), 4 porte Thunderbolt 4, Wi-Fi 7 (R2) e Bluetooth Core 6.0. Anche il controller di piattaforma è prodotto da TSMC.

Prestazioni

Le prestazioni della CPU dovrebbero essere simili a quelle dell’ Intel Core Ultra 5 338H (12 core, di cui 4 potenti core P con frequenza fino a 4,7 GHz).

Il chip può essere configurato da 15 a 25 watt (PL1) e raggiunge un massimo di 80 watt (PL2).
