Qualcomm Adreno 650
La Qualcomm Adreno 650 Ë una GPU per smartphones e tablets integrata nel SoC Qualcomm Snapdragon 865. Il chip disponibile a partire dall'inizio del 2020, sar‡ utilizzato principalmente in dispositivi Android di fascia alta.
Secondo Qualcomm, la GPU Adreno 650 offre prestazioni migliorate del 25% rispetto alla Adreno 640, il suo predecessore, che Ë integrata nel SoC Snapdragon 855. Le prestazioni migliorate sono raggiunte dall'Adreno 650 con il 50% in pi˘ di unit‡ di calcolo (ALU) rispetto all'Adreno 640. Inoltre, anche la velocit‡ di clock dei pixel shaders Ë stata aumentata del 50%.
La performance nei nostri primi benchmarks di un sistema di riferimento si posiziona al di sopra dell'ARM Mali-G76 MP16 e ad esempio in 3DMark Sling Shot Extreme anche nel punto pi˘ alto. In GFXBench solo la GPU Apple A13 Ë in grado di superare l'Adreno 650 (per quanto riguarda le GPU per smartphone).
Come novit‡, il driver della GPU puÚ essere aggiornato nell'Android Play Store. Inoltre, alcune funzionalit‡ sono in esecuzione sotto il marchio Elite Gaming (ad esempio, il supporto del display a 144 Hz, il desktop forward rendering).
L'Adreno 650 supporta Vulkan 1.1, DirectX 12, OpenGL ES 3.2 e OpenCL 2.0 FP. Inoltre, giochi e video possono utilizzare HDR10+ e Dolby Vision (con un display supportato).
