Oppo è uno dei principali attori nei principali mercati non statunitensi per un motivo e Find X2 Pro è il dispositivo più convincente di sempre. Questo sarebbe assolutamente il mio telefono principale se potessi incollarlo su un pad Qi, e mi sento degno del suo prezzo di € 1.099 ($ 1,180). Ciò lo rende uno sfidante diretto per il Galaxy S20 Plus, che non ha un teleobiettivo periscopio. (Per questo, dovresti aumentare di € 1.349 / $ 1.399 S20 Ultra.)

Oppo Find X2 Pro è un top di gamma completo e tecnologico. Il prezzo di 1199€ è alto, per spingere le vendite Oppo avrebbe potuto abbassarlo leggermente, ma visto l’hardware al suo interno è davvero difficile: se sulla confezione di vendita ci fosse scritto Apple o Samsung, probabilmente avrebbe stupito di meno. La casa cinese ha realizzato uno smartphone ricco di funzioni e di tecnologie all’avanguardia, in cui ci sono davvero pochi punti deboli, come la mancanza di ricarica wireless, e tantissimi pregi. Dallo schermo al comparto fotografico, passando per la batteria e soprattutto per la ricarica ultra rapida, Oppo Find X2 Pro non delude le aspettative. È davvero un peccato che il lancio dell’8 maggio sia stato rimandato a data da destinarsi, ma la situazione attuale purtroppo è complessa e di difficile interpretazione: meglio attendere un periodo differente per giocarsi il pezzo forte della line-up 2020.

Insomma, in conclusione, OPPO Find X2 Pro è un vero top-di-gamma e non è economico, ma nessun fuori-classe lo è. Sarà lanciato sul mercato italiano l'8 maggio al prezzo di 1199 euro (con le cuffie true wireless ENCO FREE in omaggio), ma chi lo acquisterà avrà uno smartphone "superlativo" che non cambierà prima di almeno 2/3 anni vista la potenza elaborativa, la qualità dei componenti e la memoria da ben 512 GB. Da migliorare un po' il comparto foto/video, ma basterà un aggiornamento di OPPO per rimettere a posto tutto.

Brutto trend a questo giro, prezzi in crescita per tutti i top. Meno iconico di Find X ma più caro e impermeabile: 1199 euro il prezzo di listino. Ci sono delle promo per chi preordina, in generale un bel passo avanti per la ColorOS, ora quasi matura e molto più occidentalizzata. E' velocissimo, affidabile, ha una ricarica super rapida ma voglio capire il surriscaldamento (leggero) in uso stress se dipende dal processore o dal software, lo capiremo provando i prossimi Snapdragon 865. Bellissimo il display e il foro, sui video devono migliorare, sia iPhone 11 Pro che S20 Ultra sono migliori. Ottimo prodotto ma caro, aggettivo che temo sarà ricorrente in questo 2020.

It’s a solid phone with everything you’d ever wanted in a flagship smartphone — simple, elegant design, impressive performance, and display, great camera quality, good battery life. OPPO just showed us their phones don’t need more cameras in order to produce really great photos. Sure, it took a while for OPPO to release a successor to the original Find X but it eventually pulled through with a very strong contender this time. The Find X2 Pro has a suggested retail price of Php65,990. That’s quite a hefty price, but considering it comes with a very generous 12GB RAM, 512GB storage on top of that Snapdragon 865 chip and 120Hz display, it certainly justifies the extra buck.

SD 865: SoC di fascia alta per smartphone che è stato introdotto alla fine del 2019 e prodotto in 7 nm al TSMC (migliorato N7P). Integra un "Prime Core" basato su un'architettura ARM Cortex-A77 con clock fino a 2,84 GHz. Altri tre core di prestazioni sono anch'essi basati sull'A77 ma con clock fino a 2,42 GHz. Inoltre, sono integrati quattro core a risparmio energetico basati sull'architettura ARM Cortex-A55 con clock fino a 1,8 GHz. Oltre ai core del processore, il SoC integra un modem WiFi 6 (incluso il supporto mmWave a 60 GHz), un Hexagon 698 DSP (fino a 15 TOPS) e uno Spectra 480 ISP. Il controller di memoria integrato supporta ora una memoria LPDDR5 più veloce con un massimo di 2.750 MHz. LTE non è più incluso nel SoC, ma si deve usare il modem esterno Snapdragon X55 5G.
