La Nvidia GeForce RTX 3080 è una scheda grafica desktop di fascia alta basata sulla generazione Ampere. Utilizza il grande chip GA102 e offre 8.704 shader e 10 GB di memoria grafica GDDR6X.

Le prestazioni di gioco in 4k sono chiaramente migliori della vecchia GeForce RTX 2080 Ti (circa il 15% più veloce). Pertanto, anche i giochi più impegnativi dovrebbero funzionare con le massime impostazioni di dettaglio in 4k. Abilitando il raytracing si riduce comunque il framerate e quindi i dettagli massimi non saranno giocabili. 

RTX3080 è prodotto in 8nm alla Samsung e valutato a 320 Watt, ma l'efficienza energetica è ancora abbastanza buona.
