Rockchip RK3188

Il Rockchip RK3188 è un veloce SoC ARM progettato per tablets. Integra quattro cores ARM Cortex A9 con estensione NEON ed una velocità clock fino a 1.8 GHz, una GPU Mali-400 MP4 (fino a 600 MHz, 24 GFLOPS) ed un controller di memoria a bassa potenza (LP-)DDR2/DDR3. Grazie agli elevati valori clock, le prestazioni di CPU e GPU sono superiori agli altri quad-cores Cortex-A9 come lo Nvidia Tegra 3 ed il Samsung Exynos 4412. Queste elevate frequenze sono possibili grazie al processo a 28nm (TSMC). Tuttavia, questi comportano consumi elevati e pertanto non risulta adatta a smartphones compatti.
