Samsung Exynos 8895 Octa
Il Samsung Exynos 9 8895 Octa è un System on a Chip (SoC) per smartphones e tablets. E' stato annunciato ad inizio 2017 ed è uno dei primi SoCs realizzati in 10nm (unitamente allo Snapdragon 835). E' inizialmente apparso nel Samsung Galaxy S8 e nell'S8 Plus ed ospita quattro cores Samsung M1 da 2.3 GHz e quattro cores ARM Cortex-A53 a risparmio energetico. Come GPU integra la ARM Mali-G71 MP20. Inoltre, c'è un modem LTE Cat.16 5CA 1 Gbps (download) e Cat.13 2CA 150 MBps (upload) ed un controller di memoria LPDDR4x. Il motore video riesce a co-decodificare 4K UHD 120 fps H.265, H.264 e VP9 secondo Samsung.
Le performance dei CPU cores sembrano paragonabili allo Snapdragon 835 e pertanto dovrebbe essere uno dei processori per telefoni Android più veloci di inizio 2017.
