Mediatek Dimensity 720

Il Mediatek Dimensity 720 è un SoC di fascia media con un modem 5G integrato. Comprende quattro core veloci ARM Cortex-A76 e quattro core Cortex-A55 ad alta efficienza energetica, tutti con clock fino a 2 GHz (Octa-Core con Multi-Processing eterogeneo). Inoltre, il chip integra una GPU ARM Mali-G57 MC3 a 3 core, un modem Wi-fi 5, un controller di memoria LPDDR4x, un'unità di elaborazione AI (APU) e la de- e codifica video. Rispetto al più veloce Dimensity 820, i core della CPU hanno un clock più basso e la GPU offre meno core. Inoltre, tutte le altre caratteristiche sono state leggermente limitate (ad es. max. 12 GB di RAM).

Il Dimensity 720 è prodotto nel moderno processo a 7nm e dovrebbe essere molto efficiente dal punto di vista energetico.
