Il coraggio di essere imperfetto. Cosa? Un pannello TN in un portatile gaming da $1800? Si, MSI lo ha rifatto ed ha priorizzato 120-Hz e tempi di risposta brevi. Se vi adattate, forse sarete felici di superare qualche problema in un portatile che per il resto va molto bene. Solo una delle decisioni di MSI resta discutibile.

Wow, ma con qualche piccola pecca. Con la versione Pro della serie Mate 10, abbiamo tra le mano il più potente smartphone Huawei da testare. Le dotazioni di spazio e la fotocamera sono stati migliorati, e il telefono cinese ora ha uno schermo OLED in formato 2:1. C'è anche il Kirin 970, un SoC che ha NPU aggiuntiva. Suona bene, ma Huawei ha dovuto fare dei tagli.

Twin Turbo. Mentre la maggior parte dei produttori installano sui notebook gaming solo un'unità grafica dedicata, Gigabyte ha presentato il suo nuovo Aorus X9 da 17 pollici con due GPU Nvidia. Cercheremo di stabilire se ha senso utilizzare una GeForce GTX 1070 in modalità SLI o se questa funzionalità ha più svantaggi che vantaggi.

Anno nuovo, refresh nuovo. Il nuovo Asus GL503VD rappresenta un leggero redesign estetico della linea Asus ROG. Alcune apprezzeranno, il redesign mano "gamery", ma non è cambiato molto altro. La GTX 1050 ancora consente una decente esperienza gaming (sebbene si rumoroso).

Sfortunatamente, impressiona poco nel gaming. Nella recensione vedremo come si comporta la nuova generazione di CPU rispetto alla vecchia guardia.

Vecchia scuola. Non capita di frequente di vedere portatili che consentono all'utente di sostituire la batteria senza dover smontare tutto. Dispositivi che hanno covers facilmente removibili per consentire la sostituzione anche dei componenti. Per non parlare delle porte seriali che, oggi, sono quasi del tutto estinte. Il nostro dispositivo di test ha tutte queste features. La domanda è: cosa ha di altro da offrire?

Alla fine, un portatile GS con ventole più silenziose. La famiglia MSI GS è sempre stata nota per il design sottile e per la potenza. La GPU Max-Q GPU è forse la cosa migliore che poteva accadere alla serie in quanto prova a riolvere uno dei principali problemi.
