Intel P6000

L'Intel Pentium P6000 è una CPU di fascia bassa per portatili. Ha un clock da 1.68 GHz e non supporta il TurboBoost per l'overclocking automatico della CPU. Inoltre le istruzioni AES instructions e l'hyperthreading sono disabilitate. La CPU supporta l'Enhanced Speedstep, ma ci potrebbero essere altr funzioni di risparmio energetico disabilitate (come accade per la serie Penryn - Pentium).

Rispetto alla Celeron P4500, la P6000 offre prestazioni leggermente migliori grazie al System Bus più veloce ed all'incremento della Level 3 cache. Tuttavia, non sono disponibili VT-x is per la P6000.

La P6000 si basa sulle CPUs Arrandale e di conseguenza contiene un controller di memoria integrato ed una scheda grafica Intel HD Graphics (entrambi realizzati in 45nm, la CPU in 32nm). La scheda grafica chiamata anche GMA HD nella CPU ha un clock da 500MHz ed è in grado di effettuare un overclock fino a 766MHz grazie al Turbo Boost (solo GPU).

Le prestazioni della CPU sono relativamente basse, a causa del clock rate limitato ed all'assenza di Turbo Boost ed Hyperthreading. Tuttavia le prestazioni per GHz dovrebbero essere leggermente migliori rispetto ai Core 2 Duo con clock simile, a causa del controller di memoria integrato.
