Intel Core 2 Extreme X7900

L'Intel Core 2 Extreme X7900 è stata la CPU per portatili più veloce del 2007 e si basava sul core Merom. Il consumo di energia è più elevato rispetto agli altri processori Core 2 Duo e come tutte le CPUs della serie Extreme l'X7900 offre un moltiplicatore libero (per un facile overclocking).

Rispetto alle CPUs del 2009, l'X7900 e sui livelli delle economiche P9600 / T9550 Core 2 Duo che vanno a 2.66 GHz.
