Fratello minore. L'LG K8 del 2017 è un po' più economico, più piccolo e meno potente rispetto all'LG K10. Ma forse è un affare migliore per coloro che cercano solo uno smartphone economico? Vediamo tutto nel nostro test.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Come accaduto con l'LG K10 (2017), anche con l'LG K8 (2017) il produttore Coreano realizza uno smartphone economico di alta qualità, che offre features che non si trovano sempre in questa fascia di prezzo. Innanzitutto, c'è un decente supporto NFC moderno standard bluetooth. Tuttavia, è inutile cercare come highlight un lettore di impronte. Però ci sono buona qualità di chiamata e fotocamere molto buone per questo prezzo. Ancora ci sono dispositivi di input precisi e batteria removibile con buona autonomia sull'LG K8 (2017), ed il case appare essere high-quality.

Dovrete regolare manualmente il focus delle immagini spesso, in quanto ci sono piccoli problemi, ed anche lo schermo nel complesso è troppo scuro. Le casse sono sotto il livello di questa fascia di prezzo, e la scheda grafica è debole e poco adatta al futuro.

Un case che sembra high-quality, buone fotocamere, batteria removibile - se non sentite la mancanza di un lettore di impronte digitali e non vi importa dello schermo scuro, farete un buon acquisto con l'LG K8 (2017).

In cambio avrete un solido smartphone economico che sembra essere di buona qualità e vi consente di risparmiare circa 50 Euro (~$53) rispetto all'LG K10 (2017), che ha fotocamere e schermo non migliori, ma che ha prestazioni nettamente superiori. Considerata la differenza di prezzo, se non avete bisogno di molta potenza, allora l'LG K8 (2017) è attualmente la scelta migliore.

As with the LG K10 (2017) before, with the LG K8 (2017) the Korean manufacturer also delivers quite a high-quality budget smartphone, which offers features not always found in this price range. First, there is the decent equipment supporting NFC and the modern bluetooth standard. However, for the highlight of a fingerprint sensor, you look in vain. Instead, there is a good call sound and cameras that are very good for this price class. Precise input devices and a removable battery with a decent runtime also belong to the upsides of the LG K8 (2017), and the casing appears relatively high-quality as well.

You should manually readjust the focus of pictures often, since there are some slight problems here, and also the screen overall is too dark. The speaker is rated below the level of this price class, which is low anyways, and the graphics card is weak and hardly future proof.

A casing that appears high-quality, good cameras, a removable battery – anyone who is not scared off by the missing fingerprint reader and the dark screen makes a good purchase with the LG K8 (2017).

Anyone who can live with that, gets a solid budget smart phone that appears to be of good quality, and currently still saves almost 50 Euros (~$53) in comparison to the LG K10 (2017), whose cameras and screen are not any better, but which has a considerably better performance. As long as the large price difference remains and you don't need the additional power, the LG K8 (2017) is currently the better deal.
