Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

L'EZBook 3 è un accessibile e leggero laptop con uno schermo matto e luminoso, silenzioso nel raffreddamento (perché passivo), e look accattivante. Come al solito, alcune concessioni devono essere fatte in questa fascia di prezzo. Mediocre costruzione e qualità dei materiali, angoli di visuale limitati, PWM a 200 Hz, perfomance molto basse, e un'autonomia discreta della batteria sono gli svantaggi che devono essere accettati. Anche se il touchpad e la tastiera sono di gran lunga lontani dal modello di confronto, il MacBook Air, sono molto utili per il lavoro occasionale. Come molti prodotti fatti in Cina, l'EZBook 3 attualmente non porta il marchio CE (ed i relativi tests), e l'acquirente è quasi completamente dipendente dal negozio in cui il laptop è stato acquistato in caso di garanzia. Neanche il supporto Driver è disponibile. Tuttavia, almeno è possibile utilizzare direttamente il driver grafici Intel.

Il Jumper EZBook 3 è attualmente disponibile in colore argento da Gearbest per 194.25 Euro (~$210) dal magazzino UE (listino: 343 euro, ~ $ 370). Questo prezzo sarà probabilmente molto attraente per gli utenti che possono convivere con le carenze citate.
