I tempi di risposta del display mostrano quanto sia veloce lo schermo a cambaire da un colore all'altro. Tempi di risposta lenti poccono creare sovrapposizioni negloi oggetti in movimento. Specialmente i giocatori patiti del 3D dovrebbero usare uno schermo con rempi di risposta bassi.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . L'Acer Swift 3 è un arrivo di successo nel segmento subnotebook. Ha un sofisticato chassis di alluminio che non merita critiche. Solo la possibilità di accesso per la manutenzione doveva essere facilitato. I dispositivi di input sono sorprendentemente buoni, specialmente il touchpad che ha eseguito varie gestures multi-touch molto bene. Questa feature rende questo 14" un sistema raccomandabile come compagno da ufficio. Il primo problema è il display, in quanto non è abbastanza luminoso per i nostri gusti. Uno sguardo alla concorrenza Asus mostra che i portatili in questa fascia di prezzo montano pannelli più luminosi. Quello che più ci piace dello Swift 3, sono le prestazioni buone in tutti gli scenari. Anche in condizioni estreme non ci sono problemi per questo modello. Le temperature e le caratteristiche della ventola sono buone. Solo l'autonomia della batteria è inferiore a quella di molti concorrenti.

Non impeccabile, ma esemplare: l'Acer Swift 3 convince come dispositivo da ufficio e multimedia.

Se potete spendere di più, allora dovreste dare uno sguardo al Dell XPS 13. Grazie all'eccellente display, alla maggiore autonomia e alle prestazioni grafiche, è una alternativa high-quality. La porta aggiuntiva Thunderbolt 3 inoltre garantisce una buona espandibilità della limitata offerta d porte grazie al supporto PCIe con banda elevata. L'Asus ZenBook è particolarmente interessante per gli utenti che vogliono usare il dispositivo prevalentemente in giro. Oltre ad una autonomia superiore, ha anche un display molto luminoso.

Tutti i vantaggi dell'Asus ZenBook valgono acnhe per l'Acer Aspire S 13, che ha un prezzo simile.
