Un po' di tutto. Questo nuovo modello Acer si fa notare per compattezza, versatilità, e la nuova GeForce MX150. Piccoli problemi con il display ed il suono non rispecchiano le sue ambizioni multimedia, ma grazie ai buoni dispositivi di input, le features di sicurezza, e l'ottima durata, offre extra mobilità per l'ufficio.

I tempi di risposta del display mostrano quanto sia veloce lo schermo a cambaire da un colore all'altro. Tempi di risposta lenti poccono creare sovrapposizioni negloi oggetti in movimento. Specialmente i giocatori patiti del 3D dovrebbero usare uno schermo con rempi di risposta bassi.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Se considerate il prezzo elevato di circa 950 Euro (~$1130) del nuovo Acer Aspire Swift 3 SF315-51G-55Z9, solo il display non ottimo - ma non terribile - ed in particolare il pessimo sound sono sotto il livello di prezzo. Esteticamente, tutto è apposto, se non fosse per la sensibilità alle ditate e alla difficoltà di pulirlo. 

Se ignorate le superfici, il case che è relativamente piccolo e leggero, si differenzia molto dalla concorrenza. Non c'è nulla da criticare nemmeno sulla costruzione. Grazie ai buoni dispositivi di input, TPM, sensore impronte, e decente autonomia, questo dispositivo leggero, compatto, silenzio e fresco è molto adatto all'utilizzo da ufficio mobile. Ed infine con la nuova Nvidia GeForce MX150, finalmente c'è un successore della datata 940MX, quindi è possibile il gaming occasionale con risultati buoni o comunque accettabili.

Con il nuovo Swift 3, Acer realizza un tuttofare di successo, con ambizioni gaming, che sicuramente troverà acquirenti con la combinazione di un case compatto e leggero e con le sue funzioni di sicurezza, tuttavia non manca qualche pecca.
