Economico portatile entry-level. Il Lenovo IdeaPad 110S è un piccolo subnotebook da 11". Il consumo troppo elevato si fa sentire sull'autonomia. Vediamo insieme come si comporta questo compatto dispositivo entry-level in termini di prestazioni.

I tempi di risposta del display mostrano quanto sia veloce lo schermo a cambaire da un colore all'altro. Tempi di risposta lenti poccono creare sovrapposizioni negloi oggetti in movimento. Specialmente i giocatori patiti del 3D dovrebbero usare uno schermo con rempi di risposta bassi.

Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

Il Lenovo IdeaPad è un economico subnotebook da 11,6". Questo dispositivo entry-level costa appena 220 Euros ed ha un SoC dual-core, 2 GB di RAM, e 32 GB di eMMC flash. Il dispositivo sicuramente soddisferà gli utenti che hanno a che fare occasionalmente con lavoro da ufficio o che vogliono navigare in Internet. Oltre questo, il Lenovo IdeaPad 110S ha buone qualità multimedia in quanto è presente un'interfaccia HDMI. Il dispositivo è disponibile in blu, rosso, argento e bianco. Ce n'è per tutti.

Sebbene Lenovo abbia installato componenti economici nell'IdeaPad 110S, questo piccolo subnotebook non riesce a convincere con i suoi consumi contenuti. Le prestazioni di sistema sono invece più piacevoli.

Come detto, il consumo è troppo alto ed ha un impatto negativo sull'autonomia della batteria. Anche lo schermo non è convincente in pieno. Tuttavia, non sorprende che abbiamo dovuto sottrarre dei punti visto che questo dispositivo costa appena 220 Euro (~$259; ~$165 in USA). Anche la robustezza del case potrebbe essere migliore. I 32 GB di spazio molto probabilmente dissuaderanno molti clienti. Solo il lettore micro-SD riesce in parte a compensare. Raccomandiamo di installare un SSD nel dispositivo per avere un minimo di spazio vitale considerando che c'è uno slot M.2.
