Screen Flickering / PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation)

To dim the screen, some notebooks will simply cycle the backlight on and off in rapid succession - a method called Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) . This cycling frequency should ideally be undetectable to the human eye. If said frequency is too low, users with sensitive eyes may experience strain or headaches or even notice the flickering altogether.

L'Asus VivoBook E200HA è un subnotebook da 11,6". Sebbene il dispositivo non sia tra i più veloci, il prezzo di appena 249 Euro (~$294) attira i clienti. Per questo prezzo, avrete un piccolo compagno che monta un frugale processore quad-core. Se il peso contenuto fa pensare a una buona mobilità, il dispositivo è comunque relativamente robusto. Se non vi piace il bianco del nostro dispositivo, potete anche comprare il VivoBook E200HA in blu o oro.

Asus ha unito componenti molto efficienti energeticamente nel VivoBook E200HA, ottenendo valori di emissioni molto buoni da questo subnotebook da 11". Inoltre buoni dispositivi di input ed ampia autonomia sono argomenti a favore del VivoBook E200HA.

Siamo rimasti contenti dei dispositivi di input, sebbene avremmo preferito una tastiera retroilluminata. Il nostro dispositivo perde punti importanti a causa del display. Il pannello TN non è adatto all'utilizzo all'aperto. In aggiunta, gli angoli di visuale sono limitati, e lo stesso vale per la copertura del colore. In termini di spazio di archiviazione, l'OS è troppo avido per 32 GB. Il sistema operativo usa più della metà di questo spazio, quindi è difficile avere disponibilità per i vostri programmi. Lo stesso vale per la memoria di lavoro, che è di appena 2 GB. Chiunque stia considerando l'acquisto dell'Asus VivoBook E200HA dovrebbe pensare ad una versione da 64 GB o da 128 GB. Sfortunatamente, non ci sono opzioni per la RAM che non può essere aumentata.
