Analisi dei laptop GeForce RTX 4070, 4060 e 4050 - Le nuove GPU per laptop mainstream di Nvidia in esame

Perfetto per QHD e 1080p. Due settimane dopo il lancio dei nuovi modelli di fascia alta RTX 4090 e RTX 4080, Nvidia lancia le nuove versioni per laptop di RTX 4070, RTX 4060 e RTX 4050. Abbiamo controllato i tre nuovi modelli e anche le versioni più piccole offrono prestazioni nettamente superiori.

Nvidia ha appena lanciato il suo nuovoGeForce RTX 4090 LaptopeGeforce RTX 4080 Laptopall'inizio di febbraio. Le nostre analisi complete hanno mostrato che le prestazioni sono molto inferiori rispetto alle controparti RTX 40 per desktop a causa delle restrizioni TGP, ma c'è ancora un notevole miglioramento delle prestazioni rispetto al vecchio modello di puntaGeForce RTX 3080 Ti Laptop. Sia laMSI Titan GT77(RTX 4090) così come ilRazer Blade 16(RTX 4080) hanno dimostrato che entrambe le GPU sono in grado di gestire facilmente schermi ad alta risoluzione, compresi quelli 4K. Tuttavia, questi laptop sono molto costosi e le nuove GPU mainstream saranno più interessanti per molti clienti.

Oggi Nvidia lancia i nuovi modelliGeForce Computer portatile RTX 4070,RTX 4060 Laptopcosì comeRTX 4050 Laptopche sono disponibili in molti portatili da gioco e multimediali. Oltre ai benchmark sintetici, controlleremo le prestazioni di gioco, compreso il Ray Tracing e l'upscaling DLSS di Nvidia.

Panoramica - Laptop RTX 4070, 4060 e 4050

I nuovi modelli GeForce RTX 4070, 4060 e 4050 sono tutti basati sull'architettura Ada Lovelace e tutte le versioni supportano DLSS 3 e il raytracing. Ci sono ovviamente differenze in termini di numero di core, elencate nella tabella seguente. L'RTX 4070 Laptop è basato sul chip AD106, mentre l'RTX 4060 Laptop e l'RTX 4050 Laptop sono basati sul chip AD107. Tutte e tre le GPU sono in grado di coprire un'ampia gamma di sistemi con impostazioni TGP comprese tra 35 e 115 Watt con 25 Watt aggiuntivi dal processore tramite Dynamic Boost. Ciò significa che tutte e tre le GPU per laptop possono consumare fino a 140 Watt.

Tuttavia, questo valore è visibile solo in carichi di lavoro sintetici come FurMark, ad esempio. Il consumo di energia in scenari di gioco reali dipenderà dal carico effettivo della GPU, quindi il consumo può essere molto più basso. Questo è importante quando si analizzano i benchmark di gioco e i dati dei sensori, in modo da non farsi prendere dal panico quando la GPU non raggiunge sempre il valore TGP massimo, poiché tutto funziona come previsto da Nvidia. L'ampia gamma di TGP può anche essere un problema per i clienti quando i produttori di laptop non rivelano i dati TGP esatti per i loro prodotti.

La nostra analisi del laptop RTX 4090/480 ha mostrato miglioramenti dell'efficienza di oltre il 50%, ma Nvidia pubblicizza addirittura incrementi di efficienza superiori (3x). Le informazioni stampa mostrano ora lo scenario di questa affermazione, che non è molto pratica. Il confronto include il nuovo laptop RTX 4070 che funziona a 40W e che offrirà le stesse prestazioni del vecchio laptop RTX 3070.RTX 3070. Tuttavia, non ci sono ulteriori dettagli su questo confronto (come applicazioni, giochi, impostazioni, ecc.).

Sistemi di test

Abbiamo potuto utilizzare diversi sistemi per raccogliere i seguenti dati di riferimento. Oltre alle unità di vendita al dettaglio, abbiamo avuto accesso anche a campioni di progettazione, che non saranno venduti ai clienti. Ciò significa che al momento non sono disponibili recensioni su questi sistemi, ma testeremo le loro controparti al dettaglio non appena possibile.

Tutti i laptop sono stati testati con le impostazioni di prestazioni massime e (se possibile) con l'iGPU disattivata. I due modelli RTX 4070 Laptop e RTX 4050 Laptop nei sistemi XMG e Blade 18 sono le versioni più veloci delle GPU con il TGP massimo e i risultati rappresentano le migliori prestazioni ottenibili. Gigaybte e MSI utilizzano GPU con un TGP massimo di 105W (80W TGP + 25W Dynamic Boost).

Benchmark sintetici

Iniziamo con i benchmark sintetici di 3DMark, dove la nuovaRTX 4070 Laptopsi colloca subito davanti alla precedente GPU di fascia altaRTX 3080 Ti Laptope alla pari con laRTX 3070 per desktop. Questo significa anche che c'è un enorme deficit di prestazioni rispetto allaRTX 4080 Ti Laptopdove la versione più potente è circa il 40% più veloce. La RTX 4070 da 105W di Gigabyte Aero 16, invece, è solo il 4% più lenta.

La RTX 4060 Laptop da 105W è anche appena il 13% più lenta della RTX 4070 Laptop nel XMG Neo 17 nei test sintetici, ma è anche il 33% più veloce della vecchiaGeForce RTX 3060quindi nel complesso è paragonabile al portatile RTX 3070 Ti.

La nuova RTX 4050 mostra i maggiori miglioramenti, con un vantaggio prestazionale del 74% rispetto alla vecchiaRTX 3050 Ti. Tuttavia, dobbiamo essere un po' cauti in quanto questo è il Laptop RTX 4050 più veloce (140W), ma la maggior parte delle unità di vendita al dettaglio avrà probabilmente specifiche TGP molto più basse.

Parametri di gioco

I nostri benchmark di gioco senza raytracing e upscaling mostrano una situazione molto simile rispetto ai test sintetici. Nel complesso, laRTX 4070 Laptopè ancora una volta molto simile allaRTX 3080 Ti Laptopsolo le impostazioni 4K mostrano a volte la limitazione della VRAM più piccola. con la RTX 4070 Laptop è ancora possibile giocare in 4K con quasi tutti i giochi moderni.

IlRTX 4060 Laptopè ancora una volta paragonabile allaRTX 3070 Ti Laptoped è più adatto per le impostazioni QHD e 4K in molti titoli.

La nostra versione veloce della RTX 4050 Laptop è alla pari con la RTX 3060 Laptop di GeForce in molti benchmark di gioco, il che significa che è ideale per i giochi a 1080p e anche per le impostazioni QHD in molti titoli.

Benchmark del raytracing

I risultati cambiano un po' quando si inizia a usare il raytracing e il laptop RTX 4070 è leggermente dietro al laptop RTX 3080 Ti. Se si vuole attivare il raytracing, si è fondamentalmente limitati alla risoluzione di 1080p; le impostazioni 4K spesso soffrono di bassi numeri di fps.

Le capacità di raytracing della RTX 4050 sono ancora più limitate e anche le impostazioni a 1080p sono a volte troppo impegnative, quindi è necessario utilizzare l'upscaling per ottenere frame rate uniformi (ne parleremo nella prossima sezione).

Nota: a breve aggiungeremo i benchmark di raytracing per il laptop RTX 4060.
